Thank you for your continued support of The LeRoy W. Homer Jr. Foundation.

The Foundation has faced a number of challenges in the past few years - the most disheartening being the public's growing indifference to the events of September 11^th, 2001. Of the 300 or so organizations created in the aftermath of September 11^th; more than one third had ceased operations by 2006¹.

The LeRoy W. Homer Jr. Foundation however, has persevered. We have been successful because of you, whether you are an individual donor, a corporate sponsor or a volunteer. The Foundation still operates as an all volunteer organization. As the cost of jet fuel and flight training rises, we ask for your continued support. Every donation, no matter how small, helps. If you would like to donate services or your time, it would be very much appreciated.

For those of us who travel, the shortage of pilots is most evident during the holiday months with hundreds of flight cancellations. The nation will continue to need pilots to protect its borders. The LeRoy W. Homer Jr. Foundation is proud to be supporting the next generation of pilots. We hope you will too.
